As Senior UNIX Systems Administrator (WPI Position Description) at WPI, I manage 100+ Ultrix and Digital Unix workstations and integrate different operating system platforms on campus:

Digital Unix	DEC Ultrix	OpenVMS
MS-DOS	Microsoft Windows 3.X, 95, and NT	Novell Netware 3.1X and 4.X

I provide user support to the students, staff, and faculty and assist in managing WPI's Residential Network which allows residence hall students to connect to WPI's network.

I also have the opportunity to field test hardware and software for Digital Equipment Corporation and assist BBN Planet with their Worcester Point of Presence located on the WPI campus. I am currently involved with testing and development for:

• Internet Software Consortium's BIND (Berkeley Internet Name Domain)
• Eric Allman's Sendmail
• Free Software Foundation's GNU Emacs
• Various other UNIX/Internet Utilities (Screen)
